We deliver the best experience to students who choose to
stay with us. Besides knowledge transfer, we help them hone skills and shoulder
responsibilities through participatory and leadership approach. Through various
activities, we encourage students to develop original thinking, competency, and
leadership skills and help them realize their part in the community building and
development process.
Clubs
JIRS has clubs to nurture individual talents and interests
and support with amenities if they are ready to transform their passions into a
career.
Recreational and
Hobby Club
To help students build active and healthy minds, we conduct
recreational activities like yoga, meditation, painting, acting, quiz, music,
and dance.
We understand students have different hobbies and to fulfil
their needs we have the Histrionics Club that provides a platform to excel in
the field of drama, music, and dance, the Painting Gallery to inspire future
artists, adventure club offers coaching in trekking, parasailing, mountaineering,
river rafting, jungle survival, and boating, Raman's Team, and Curiosity
Corner.
We run hobby classes on Sundays for grades IV to IX from
9.30 am to 11.30 am.
Science Club
We know students are intrinsically curious and to nurture
their explorative spirit, we host events, seminars, exhibitions, and workshops
through the year to enable students to discover interesting facts and track new
advances in nature and showcase their ideas and findings. Inviting scientific
researchers from various corners have deeply inspired students to make science
more fun and engaging subject.
Harvard Model
Congress (HMC)
Harvard Model Congress is the largest congressional
simulation for high school students. At HMC, students get an opportunity to
experience the workings of the American government first-hand by assuming the
roles of world leaders and international decision-makers while addressing some
of the world's most pressing challenges at the international platform.
Model United Nations
Model United Nations is a significant platform that offers
educational simulation in students of Grades 11 and 12 in the field of politics
and international affairs and understands the role of the United Nations. In
MUNs, students play the role of delegates from various countries attempting to
solve real-world issues by negotiating with allies, conflict resolutions,
delivering speeches, etc. MUN is a comprehensive platform to encourage
leadership abilities, critical thinking, teamwork, and create strong awareness
of global issues. The forum helps produce new ideas and solutions that can help
tackle the current challenges and crises facing a nation.

Arts
JIRS provides challenging as well as intellectually
stimulating experiences for students in the field of arts. The mixture of arts
of different traditions accompanied by accredited tutors enables students to
take full advantage of the opportunity. We encourage students to perform at
various platforms and help them transform passions into careers.
Visual Arts
We urge students to compulsorily choose the art of their
choice and excel in it. For six months, students are trained to get a
full-scale experience of the art. After completing the training period,
depending on the interest, students would be encouraged to pursue further
learning.

Performing Arts
To make students creative, confident, and articulate
performers and musicians through vocal, intellectual, and physical skills, we
offer a wide range of opportunities through scene study, improvisation and
direction, solo and group performances in voice and instrumental music as well
as drama and dance.
There are several singing groups, a chamber orchestra and
smaller ensembles conducted by the music faculty. We offer lessons in all
orchestral instruments, such as Electronic Pad, Tabla, Wind Instrument,
Percussion, String Instrument, Guitar, Casio, Western Drums, and Congo along
with Hindustani Vocal, Carnatic Classical Music, Classical Dance, Light Music,
Drama, and Cookery.
